💛 Addiction Does Not Define You

"Addiction made me believe that my worst choices were the only parts of me that people could see. It took time for me to understand that I am more than the mistakes I've made. My past does not define me. I am worthy of love, forgiveness, and another chance. I choose to forgive myself and allow myself to grow, heal, and take steps to better my life. If you're in recovery—or simply trying to make it through today—I hope you know your story isn't over and you are always capable of making different choices."
